Background

Karol Kalinka is an attorney-at-law. He works in the Real Estate and Construction Law Department of SDZLEGAL Schindhelm. He joined the firm's team in May 2025.

From 2006 to 2011, he completed full-time studies in administration at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław. He obtained a master's degree in administration.

From 2010 to 2015, he completed full-time studies in law at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław. He obtained a master's degree in law.

Between 2010 and 2017, as a member of the Department of Administrative Law at the University of Wrocław, he taught classes for full-time and part-time law students, with a particular focus on substantive administrative law.

In May 2017, at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, he defended his doctoral dissertation titled "Public Administration and Pressure Groups," which was subsequently published.

He is the author of numerous academic articles and a monograph on administrative law, as well as a co-author of scientific monographs and an administrative law textbook for law students.

Since 2019, he has been entered on the list of attorneys-at-law at the District Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Wrocław.

Prior to joining the SDZLEGAL Schindhelm team, he gained experience working over the past 12 years as a legal specialist and chief specialist for contract conditions at leading Polish companies involved in the broadly understood construction sector. He also served as an in-house counsel for a chemical manufacturing group, where he was responsible for the legal supervision of comprehensive investment projects.

Expertise

He advises domestic and international clients on civil and administrative law, focusing primarily on contract, real estate, and construction law. He provides comprehensive legal support for investment projects at every stage of their lifecycle—from initial planning and contract negotiation through to the execution of binding agreements.

His experience encompasses projects across the energy, infrastructure, industrial, chemical, and automotive sectors. This includes advising on investment processes for the construction of conventional power plants, chemical and environmental protection facilities, production lines, as well as the supply of materials and equipment.

Drawing on years of practice as a legal specialist and attorney-at-law, he effectively represents clients before public authorities, administrative bodies, and courts at all stages of investment-related proceedings. He is a recognized expert in construction law, FIDIC Conditions of Contract, and claims management.
