We are delighted to announce that experienced lawyers Marc Manciet and Soraya Racette will join our team in Paris as of January 1, 2025. Together with Maurice Hartmann, they will lead our Paris office, bringing extensive expertise in various areas of law.

Maurice Hartmann

Maurice Hartmann is a seasoned lawyer admitted to the Paris Court of Appeals, with a comprehensive background in both German and French law. His expertise spans corporate law, criminal law, and labor law. Maurice has over five years of experience working independently and with prestigious law firms, including White & Case LLP, where he focused on white-collar crime and M&A. Fluent in German and French, he also brings valuable insights from his tenure at the German Federal Ministry of Justice in Berlin.

Marc Manciet

Marc brings substantial expertise in lease and real estate law. He has gained significant experience in legal consulting and regularly delivers lectures, such as the recent webinar “How the Rise of Artificial Intelligence Challenges the Legal Landscape.” His publications, including articles on Paris as a hub for international dispute resolution and the impact of Brexit on trademark protection, underscore his extensive knowledge. Marc is bilingual in English and French.

Soraya Racette

Soraya has an impressive academic background and served as a lecturer in civil law at the Catholic University of Lille. Her practical experience in insurance law, along with memberships in the Association of French-British Lawyers and the Society for Comparative Legislation, highlights her profile as a highly skilled attorney. Soraya is also bilingual in French and English, with additional proficiency in German and Polish.
